Envelope is a modular building system developed by Loft & Bunk. Individual rooms are designed and manufactured as transportable modules, then combined on site to create a home that is larger, more comfortable, and entirely customizable.

- Prefabricated exterior insulation modules that attach to the outside of the main structural module after transport to site.
- Each panel is approximately 2 ft wide, allowing for standardized manufacturing, handling, and replacement.
- The main structural module remains compact for transportation, while the panels are attached around the exterior to create a continuous, high-performance thermal envelope.
- Panels are designed to integrate around windows, doors, corners, and other openings.
- Joints are carefully detailed to minimize thermal bridging and maintain continuous weather and air barriers.
- Different insulation thicknesses can be used depending on climate and performance requirements, while keeping the basic structural module standardized.
